"Giving is the best communication"

Kádár Rolland

I’m Rolland Kádár and I was born in Gheorgheni. I’m studying special education at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca.

Why did you decide to apply for the special education course of BBU?

The reason is that I have family members with special needs and because of them I had the chance to get an insight into this specialty.

How would you like to utilize the knowledge gained during this course?

Since most of the classes have a practical part, working with children and/or adults will be easier in the future.

What’s your biggest dream?

Establishing a center for people with special needs. Do movement development, hearing development, develop their creativity or hold speech therapy for them.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I spend time with my friends, watch a movie, listen to music or ride a bike. The very last one is really important to me.

We hear that you have done volunteering. Tell us about it!

In Cluj Napoca I have been a member of the Faith and Light group for about 2 years. There are adults with special needs and volunteers in this group. We converse with each other, play, sing and hold free time activities. Everyone learns something by the end of the day.

Why do you think volunteering is important nowadays?

It gives something unique that one cannot get from somewhere else. You have to try it out to know what it is.

What does it mean for you to be the scholar of the foundation? How does it help you?

It’s an honor and a big help for me in the everyday life.

Message for the foundation:

Thank you very much for the help! I’m very grateful to the foundation.
