Ajtay Gabriella-Janka
„The scholarship helps me mainly train myself and thereby to become self-sufficient.”

My name is Ajtay Gabriella-Janka, I was born on 31 January 1999 in Târgu-Mureș. In 2005 I started my studies in Liviu Rebreanu High School, than I continued my fifth class in Unirea National Dorm, however on the summer of 2012 we moved in Gheorgheni and I started my eighth grade there, where I have finished the secondary school with a lot of sense of achievement and good academic results. Currently I am a student of Salamon Ernő High School at Natural Sciences specialization, as well as I am the HaDIT foreign vice-president and I managed to get in MCC (Mathias Corvinus Collegium) Secondary School’s program.
Q: Why did you choose this specialization?
Ajtay Gabriella-Janka: Among others I chose this specialization, because I think this’s the most general of all, and I found my favourite subjects, Biology and Chemistry here, although communication interests me the most.
Q: You attended more subject competitions. What were these and what results have you got?
Ajtay Gabriella-Janka: Yes, I did attend more competitions, but I would really like to highlight the History competition, on which I’ve got the county third place, over and above the civics competition, on which I’ve got the fifth place.
Q: You are also doing voluntary activity…
Ajtay Gabriella-Janka: Yes, maybe that’s the activity that proves it’s better to give than to get. I’ve taken part in a lot of events, which were organized by volunteers and I had organized a few events too, but I prefer organization to attending. It fills me up, and makes me happy.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
Ajtay Gabriella-Janka: I spend my days with acting, organizing, with working for Red Cross, learning piano, and training myself, I only go home for sleeping. These things are my hobbies, because I like dealing with people and to communicate.
Q: What about your future plans?
Ajtay Gabriella-Janka: Completing the university is the first among my future plans; I would like to study Communication and Political Science. Later, maybe I would like to deal with trainings, advising and diplomacy.
Q: What does the foundation’s help mean to you?
Ajtay Gabriella-Janka: Most of all the scholarship helps me train myself and thereby to become self-sufficient. I have an important principle that I want to buy the things, which are optional for me with my own money, thereby I can take a load off my mother’s shoulder. Thank you so much for your help.
